In the second quarter of 2021, the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Austria showcased interesting trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride from BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 3.4K in the final week of June. Weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, rising from 18K at the start of the quarter to nearly 21K by the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride by Uber Technologies, Inc. saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 3.5K in the last week of June. However, weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at around 135.7K and ending the quarter at approximately 138.5K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, also by Uber Technologies, Inc., showed a mixed trend in weekly downloads, peaking at about 833 in the third week of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 7K at the beginning of the quarter to about 7.8K by the end of June.
